Five Things to Know This Month: June 2017

Each month we send you "Five Things to Know" for the life of Village Church. This will typically include classes, info, and upcoming events. We also will give you dates to save as early as possible, so that you can get them on your calendar and be able to plan for them. Here's five things to know this month:

1. Partnership Class

Do you consider Village Church your home church? If so, we would love to invite you to join us for our two week partnership class this month. 

Class Dates: June 4th + June 11th

The class takes place during the 9:00am service in the upstairs youth room. You must attend both classes in order to continue the partnership process. For more information or to sign up please email Pastor Jon Begg: jonbegg@villagechurchirvine.com

2. Women's Ministry Slack Network

Our Village Church Women's Ministry is launching a brand new communication network through Slack. Our women will be using this Slack Network to stay connected, share prayer requests, and plan events/meetups together.

3. Village Church Spotify Playlist - Songs We Sing

Do you use Spotify to find and listen to music? We created a Spotify playlist of all the songs we sing on Sundays. You can find the playlist HERE. Subscribe to the playlist and you will get notifications when we add new songs. 

4. Village Adventures

Our Village Adventures summer kids program is coming up on June 26th - 30th for kids entering Kindergarten - 6th grade. You can register online. The cost is just $25 for the whole week!

We are in need of LOTS of volunteers to help make this week great for kids, whether you can serve for all five days, or just a few. If you are available to help out at this event, please Email Melanie Begg: melaniebegg@villagechurchirvine.com

5. Pastor Matt // Summer Sabbatical

This summer, Pastor Matt is taking a sabbatical after 21 years of full-time ministry. We hope you will join us in praying for Pastor Matt and his family during this time away, that God would use the time to help them rest, recharge, refocus and re-enter as he continues in his pastoral calling at Village Church.
