The Village Church College Internship exists to joyfully invest in the next generation of vocational and bi-vocational Christian leaders as they joyfully invest in the life of Village Church.
What will this program look like?
Nine months: Mid-August – Mid-May
10 Hours/Week: 4 Hours Sunday ... 6 Hours Mid-Week
Weekly Intern Gathering: Wednesday 3:30-5:00pm
Weekly One-on-One: 30 Minute Mentoring Check-In
Scheduled Ministry Times: Sundays 8AM-12PM + 6 Mid-Week Hours
Fall Kick-Off Retreat: Late August
Spring Debrief Retreat: Mid-May
Stipend: Included

Holistic: Geared toward the holistic health and development of Christian leaders in ten key areas of life and ministry

What will the weekly intern gathering look like?
We'll gather each week at the church to learn and grow together in our holistic health, focused on thinking like Jesus (Head) .. becoming like Jesus (Heart) .. and Serving like Jesus (Hands).
Our gatherings will include some kind of teaching and/or encouragement and exhortation ..robust discussion .. interactive exercises .. planning .. and prayer. This will be a weekly gathering / meeting that you'll never want to miss - one of the best parts of your week!

STEP 2: Our Application: Fill out the Village Church College Intern Program Application HERE. If you have any questions as you fill out the application, reach out to us at internships@villagechurchirvine.com. We're here to help. We begin accepting applications after January 15th each year.
STEP 3: Our Follow-Up: Our team will reach out within a week with an initial 30-minute follow-up call to respond to your application .. get to know a bit more about you .. and determine if an in-person interview is a good next step for us all.
STEP 4: Your Interview: If an in-person interview is the next step .. we'll follow up with a 90-minute in-person interview to dive in a bit more to the specific ministry training and experience you're looking for .. and the ways we sense Village Church could be a good fit.
STEP 5: Our Decision: We'll finalize our intern class by early May each year .. but don't worry .. we'll be in touch between the time you apply .. the time we talk and/or meet .. and the time we confirm our intern class for the year. We won't leave you hanging.
