5 Things to Know this Month: December 2016

1. BACKPACKS FOR MEXICO - PACKING + PRAYER NIGHT

We have a great Christmas Outreach project planned this year. We are trying to put together 100+ backpacks for children living in a migrant work camp in Mexico. We will be gathering on December 14th to pack these backpacks together, wrap each gift inside, hear stories of the kids living in Mexico, and spend time in prayer over this outreach project.

2. CHRISTMAS + NEW YEARS SERVICE TIMES

We hope you can join us to celebrate Jesus this Christmas season. The 2016 calendar makes things a bit tricky for churches this year. Here's what you need to know: 

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: December 24th at 5:30 PM

CHRISTMAS MORNING: No services

NEW YEARS DAY: One service at 11:00 am

3. VILLAGE ADVENTURES 

Our 2017 Village Kids Summer Program will be June 26th - 30th. It's always one of the best weeks of the year, whether you are a kid or an adult volunteer.

4. SIMPLE WAYS TO SERVE

If you are looking for a simple way to get inolved in serving at Village Church, here's just a few: 

Hospitality + Food Team: Sunday mornings + monthly prayer nights

Setup + Teardown Team: Sunday mornings + occasional events

Scripture Reading Team: Sunday mornings

5. BACKPACKS FOR MEXICO - DONATIONS

Our goal is to reach 100+ backpacks for Mexico this year, and there are many ways to help us get there. In addition to filling an entire backpack, you can also buy certain items in bulk and bring them to the packing night. Please consider reaching out to your employers, your doctor, or your dentist and inquiring about making a donation to this project.
