5 Things to Know this Month: January 2017

Happy New Year, Village Church! We are excited for what God has in store for us as a church family in 2017. Here's five things for you to know this month: 

1. Marriage Conference - Save the Dates

We are partnering with a few other local churches to host Dave Harvey's "Healthy Marriage" conference.

WHAT: A two-day seminar to provide a biblical and meaningful marriage training experience relevant to those dating all the way up to empty nesters.
WHEN: May 5-6 2017 (Friday-Saturday)
SPEAKERS: Dave and Kimm Harvey 

2. Set Your Automated Giving for 2017

We hope that you will partner with us financially in 2017, whether you are continuing in financial support, or looking to give for the first time. One of the easiest ways to do this is through online giving, and the recurring giving feature. You can set your own schedule (weekly, twice monthly, or monthly) and choose the amounts.

3. January Prayer + Worship Gathering

Our next Prayer + Worship Gathering will be on January 18th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. As always, we will be having our Family Dinner beforehand from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Childcare is provided for kids 10 and under during the service.  

4. Read the Whole Bible in 2017

We hope you will join us in reading through the Bible this year. Every Sunday in January, we will have a variety of "Bible in a Year" Bibles available for $15 each. Bring some cash, pick up a Bible, and join us in Scripture this year.  

5. Scripture Memorization

We are excited to be launching a brand new Scripture Memorization challenge this year. We have chosen 12 simple passages of Scripture to memorize together - one for each month. We will also be creating and promoting a few different tools to help us stay on track. We will share more info at our Sunday services in January.
