Commissioning @ The Village: JT Ayers

If you missed church this past Sunday, you missed a Commissioning for JT Ayers into the ministry Jesus has called him into as a Campus Pastor at Orange Lutheran High School. JT has expressed an internal call from Jesus into this ministry, and the Elders have recognized that through an external confirmation on his life for this. A brief description of Commissioned Ministers at The Village is included below.

Commissioned ministers: these are men who have demonstrated a calling and ability to pastor God’s people in the Body of Christ at large. They are recognized by the Elders as having pastoral abilities, spiritual leadership, and a deep love for Jesus Christ and His people. The primary characteristic of the commissioned minister is that they minister outside the local congregation; usually in a different geographical area (e.g. different state or foreign country), or with another ministry partnering with The Village Church.
