Five Things to Know This Month: May 2017

Each month we send you "Five Things to Know" for the life of Village Church. This will typically include classes, info, and upcoming events. We also will give you dates to save as early as possible, so that you can get them on your calendar and be able to plan for them.

Here's five things to know this month:

1. VILLAGE ADVENTURES - REGISTRATION OPEN

Village Adventures is for kids entering Kindergarten - 6th grade. Singing, dancing, crafting, playing silly games, listening to bible stories, and so much more will be happening as your kids journey through Rome this Summer. June 26th - 30th from 6:15 - 8:15 PM each night.

Registration is $25 per child. This can be paid ONLINE prior to attending. If paying by check, write Village Adventures registration in the memo. 

2. MIDDLE TIME + KIDS SCOOTER EVENT

On Sunday, May 7th, we will be having our Middle Time fellowship between services. It's a great chance to get to know some people you haven't met, while enjoying some great food and coffee.

KIDS SCOOTER TRACKS: This month we are setting up two circle tracks in the parking lot for the kids. We will have one loop for older kids, and one loop for younger kids. If your kids want to participate, please bring any scooters and helmets that you have. We will also have some extras. 

SCHEDULE:

9:00 AM - 10:15 AM // First Service

10:15 AM - 11:00 AM // Middle Time

11:00 AM - 12:15 PM // Second Service

3. PARTNER GATHERING

If you are a Village Church Partner, we invite you to attend our Spring Partner Gathering this Sunday after the 11:00am service. Lunch will be provided in The Hub at 12:30pm and the meeting will end at 2:00pm.

The purpose of our Partner Gathering is to:

1. Communicate with Partners about important information, details, vision, etc., in the life of the church
2. Hear from Partners and listen to their feedback and insights into the life of the church and
3. Talk together about how we can shape the next season of The Village together, as Village Partners.

Childcare and lunch are provided, we just ask that you RSVP in advance to help our planning.

4. SERVE NEED: AUDIO / VISUAL TEAM

We are in need of a few more volunteers to help with our Sunday morning audio/visual team. If you are skilled in these areas, or just interested in learning joining the team, we would love to help you get involved. Email David for more details. 

5. VILLAGE CHURCH INSTAGRAM

Instagram is a great way to stay connected in the life of Village Church. We use Instagram to share sermon reflection blog posts, photos from events, and information about things that are coming up.
