Five Things to Know This Month: August 2017

Each month we send you "Five Things to Know" for the life of Village Church. This will typically include classes, info, and upcoming events. We also will give you dates to save as early as possible, so that you can get them on your calendar and be able to plan for them. Here's five things to know this month:

1. Summer Block Party

Join us for a Summer Block Party with food, games, and a giant outdoor movie. 

6:30 PM // Dinner begins

We will be cooking up lots of food in the parking lot, tailgate style: Tri-tip, BBQ chicken, brats, hot dogs, potato salads, green salads, chips, drinks and so much more! Bring some beach chairs and find a spot to enjoy dinner + tailgate style games together. 

On one end of the parking lot, we are setting up string lights and games for adults to fellowship together and have a great time. There will be a corn hole tournament, tables with card games, board games, and lots more, just for the adults! 

8:00 PM // Movie begins 

We will have a movie playing for kids on a giant outdoor screen on the other end of the parking lot. 

This will be a great evening together for the whole church. Don't miss it!

2. Women's Retreat 2018 Dates

WOMEN: Save the dates for our 2018 Women's Retreat. You won't want to miss it. Our 2018 dates are April 27th - 29th.  

3. Fall Baptisms

We will be celebrating baptisms during our Sunday services on September 17th. If you or someone you know would like to be baptized, let us know! We will send you more information about baptism and our upcoming baptism class. Email Dave Kraft for more details - davekraft@villagechurchirvine.com

4. Baby Dedications

On Sunday, October 22nd we will be having baby dedications. This is a special time when parents make a commitment before the Lord, and our church family, to raise a child according to God's Word. 5. Village Adventures 2018 Dates

FAMILIES: Save the dates for our 2018 Village Adventures week. We had a blast this year at Village Adventures, and we hope your kids enjoyed it. We are already planning for next year. Mark your calendars today, and we hope to see you there!
