Five Things to Know This Month: September 2018

Each month we send you "Five Things to Know" this month at Village Church. This will typically include classes, info, and upcoming events. We also will give you dates to save as early as possible, so that you can get them on your calendar and be able to plan for them. Here's five things to know this month:

1. Community Group Fair

This fall is the best time to get involved with a Village Church Community Group, and we are kicking off the season with a Community Group Fair THIS SUNDAY between services. If you aren't in a group currently, this is a great chance to meet our group leaders, find out more information about locations and times, and join a group. 

If you are coming to  the 11am service, you can show up a bit early and join us for the Community Group Fair. There will be lots of food for everyone. 

9:00 AM // First Service
10:15 AM // COMMUNITY GROUP FAIR
11:00 AM // Second Service

2. Baptisms

Are you a follower of Jesus who hasn’t yet been baptized? We would love to baptize you and celebrate what God has done in your life. If you are interested, you can save the date and email Pastor Darren (darrenyoungman@villagechurchirvine.com)

3. Men's Advance 2018

Join us for our annual Men's Advance. We are heading to Younglife's Oakbridge Camp in Ramona, CA from October 5-7th.

This is our biggest and best Men's Ministry event of the year, and the best chance to get connected with other men at Village Church and grow together. We hope you can join us.

4. Fall Bible Studies

Next week our Men's and Women's Bible Studies begin our fall study through the book of Judges. If you haven't signed up to be in a Bible study, it's not too late. Check out our Men's and Women's Ministry pages for more info. 

5. Save the Date: Winter Block Party

We hope everyone had a great time at our Summer Block Party. You can mark your calendar for our Winter Block Party on December 8th. See you there!
